OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE EFFECTIVE, SAFE, AND TRUSTED SUPPORT ON YOUR WELLNESS JOURNEY
Mariposa Health and Wellness has built a program from the ground up utilizing GLP-1 RA medications to help our clients achieve their best health. These medications have gained recognition in recent years for their ability to help people eat less and lose weight. What we’ve discovered through our continued work, however, is that their benefits extend far beyond weight loss—they are transforming patients’ internal health in profound ways.
As we’ve worked closely with patients and witnessed firsthand the life-changing impact of these treatments, we’ve learned how to tailor our program to meet each individual’s needs. We want our reputation for experience and compassion to be what inspires patients to choose us.
Much of what we do involves educating patients on the latest evidence about why we gain and lose weight, and how these medications repair systems that may not function properly for many people.
Our program is designed with your success in mind. We understand that every patient is unique, and by getting to know you—your goals, your challenges, and how you can best benefit from these medications—we ensure your success both during the program and beyond.
CARE YOUR WAY!
Virtual Visits
Our Virtual Visits begin with a telehealth evaluation conducted by our medical staff. During this assessment, we’ll review your medical history, discuss any challenges you’ve faced with weight loss, and explore how these medications may benefit you.
If you choose to begin treatment, your medications will be shipped directly to your door.
Once you receive them, you’ll be supported with clear written instructions, step-by-step video guides, and phone consultations as needed to help you start your therapy with confidence. During your first four weeks, we schedule weekly follow-up calls to review your progress and address any questions or concerns. After that, official follow-ups occur every four weeks—but we remain available to you anytime for additional support.
We also provide access to the Mariposa Health and Wellness App, which offers guidance on dosing, injection techniques, side-effect management, and practical tips for success. The app also includes tools to track your activity and food intake, helping you stay motivated and maximize your results.
In- Person
Our in-person visits begin with an evaluation conducted by our medical staff. During this assessment, we’ll review your medical history, discuss your challenges with weight loss, and determine how these medications may benefit you.
If you decide to begin treatment, you’ll receive your first injection during your appointment, or we’ll schedule a time for you to come back when you’re ready.
For the first four weeks, we schedule weekly follow-up visits in the clinic to review your progress and address any questions or concerns. After this initial period, official follow-ups are scheduled every four weeks—but our team is always available for additional support whenever you need it.
To further support your journey, we provide access to the Mariposa Health and Wellness App, which includes guidance on dosing, injection techniques, managing side effects, and practical tips for success. The app also offers tools to track your activity and food intake, helping you stay on track and maximize your results.

We offer the compounded forms of GLP-1 and GLP1/GIP medications used for weight loss. We also will provide a prescription for the brand name medications if patients prefer this option.

To qualify for our program, patients must first meet with one of our providers to review their medical history and discuss the risks and benefits of using these medications. Treatment may be recommended to support reaching a healthy weight or to address other conditions that improve with reduced inflammation.
We believe that body fat percentage is a stronger indicator of overall health and the risk of metabolic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and fatty liver disease. Reducing these risks through the use of medication is the cornerstone of our program.
There are some exceptions to this guideline. For example, some patients benefit from a low dose of medication to help manage autoimmune symptoms, even if it does not cause weight loss. If you are interested in this option, please contact us to learn more.
Some patients may qualify for insurance coverage of the medication based on BMI and other health risks. We can help determine eligibility. In certain cases, insurance may cover the cost of the medication but not the cost of participation in our program.
The cost to participate in our program above and beyond the cost of the prescription medication is $150 a month.

These medications support weight loss in two key ways. First, they reduce food intake by decreasing cravings and helping patients feel full more quickly. Second, they correct metabolic pathways that otherwise promote unnecessary energy storage (fat accumulation).
Many patients report that their favorite benefit is the reduction in “food noise.” They notice they spend less time thinking about food—or sometimes not at all—which allows them to make healthier choices more easily.

Initial month $500
Includes in-depth medical assessment, lab work, and weekly visits to receive your medication. This allows us to determine what dose of the peptide if right for you and address any side effects that might arise.
After the first four weeks, we will see you every month unless we need to see you sooner to discuss questions or concerns.
The cost of the program is then determined by the dose of medication you are on.
Price ranges from $235 to $400 a month. This incudes the cost of the medications and the cost of our program . There are no hidden costs.
Each time we increase your dose we discuss the increase in costs and make sure we have exhausted every other option to keep costs as low as possible for you.
GLP1/GIP medications are slightly more expensive and these costs are available at your first visit to discuss when deciding which medication is right for you.

We do labs to gather a baseline of your metabolic health, if you have had labs recently we can utilize these and then repeat the labs as needed while you are on the program. The cost of the initial labs is built into your first costs. Any labs after this are at an additional cost.
If you are a virtual patient, we will send you to a local lab to have your lab work done.

While we cannot guarantee that these medications will work for every patient, we have seen great success with those enrolled in our program. Success requires commitment from both you and our team. Rest assured, if challenges arise, our team will leave no stone unturned in helping you overcome them.
At the start of the program, we provide you with tools to set you up for success. Throughout your journey—and beyond—we continuously look for ways to support and benefit you. Your success truly is our success. Nothing makes our team happier than seeing patients achieve health goals they once thought were out of reach.

Well, we like to think we’re the bee’s knees—just kidding!
All jokes aside, our mission is to be informed, safe, and trustworthy providers in a field that unfortunately has many bad actors.
A recent study published in JAMA evaluated 314 online providers of weight loss medications, and the results were alarming. More than half were operating illegally. Some weren’t providing a product at all, others were shipping vials that didn’t contain real medication, and the most concerning discovery was that some were distributing vials with medication concentrations far higher than what was listed.
In contrast, our providers are real, dedicated professionals who truly want to see you succeed. We partner only with 503A and 503B certified pharmacies, which are under active FDA oversight, ensuring your medication is safe, legitimate, and responsibly dispensed.

The primary risks with these medications are the side effects that some patients experience at the beginning of therapy. This is where we believe our program offers unique value—we provide you with the tools and education to help prevent or minimize side effects.
One way we accomplish this is by starting at a low dose and increasing gradually, only as your body is ready. Some patients remain on very low doses (often called micro-doses) throughout their program, while others may need higher doses to achieve the full effect. We cannot predict in advance who will need which approach, as this is influenced by genetic variation rather than weight or other factors.
Long-term risks and side effects appear to be minimal. However, patients with a history of pancreatic illness or medullary thyroid cancer are not good candidates for the program. These considerations will be carefully reviewed at your first visit to ensure the medication is safe and appropriate for you.

The answer to this question varies for each individual. Many patients are able to use these medications to reach their weight goals while also developing new habits that help them maintain their results. However, if weight is lost but old habits—such as unhealthy eating or avoiding exercise—return, the weight will likely come back. This is a matter of science, not a reaction to the medications.
Some patients find the reduction in “food noise” so beneficial to their mood and daily well-being that they choose to remain on a maintenance dose even after reaching their goal.

Muscle loss can be a risk during any weight loss journey if proper attention isn’t given to nutrition and exercise. That’s why a key part of our program is making sure you have the knowledge and support needed to protect and maintain your muscle mass.
To help you succeed, we offer free fitness classes for our patients at Garage Studio Fitness and Ellensburg Yoga.
